David Crosby and Graham Nash brought two key voices of the Woodstock generation to Occupy Wall Street protests Tuesday in New York, singing "Teach Your Children" and other songs from an earlier age of social activism.
Longtime musicians and activists David Crosby and Graham Nash are scheduled to perform a concert at the Occupy Wall Street protest site in Manhattan's Zuccotti Park.
The Occupy Wall Street website says the Tuesday afternoon concert will be an acoustic set of protest songs. Crosby, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer of Crosby Stills and Nash fame, visited the park last week.
Music legend and human rights advocate Peter Gabriel will host the 7th Annual Focus for Change benefit dinner and concert for WITNESS, the international human rights organization on Thursday, November 10th at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC.
The event will have a performance by David Crosby and Graham Nash and other special guests.
WITNESS is a nonprofit organization started in 1992 by musician and activist Peter Gabriel that uses video to open the eyes of the world to human rights violations. When the tour was first announced in January, most of the dates referenced were for the West Coast, so today's update of several new shows turns the outing into a true coast-to-coast affair.

The song was performed by Graham Nash and David Crosby in Denver during the Democratic Convention last fall, and was filmed by Levinson for the movie. Graham Nash wore a blue shirt and black pants. David Crosby wore a black shirt and blue plants. Nash walked barefoot on the stage covered with oriental carpets. Crosby sported a long gray beard, and their voices composed the pleasing harmony for which the audience clapped and cheered.

Management for Crosby & Nash (CN) regrettably announced today that they are forced to postpone the group’s tour of the US that was to have kicked off on March 19 in Shawnee, OK and ended on April 14 in Niagara Falls, NY.
The action was taken because of medical issues that have arisen for member David Crosby. On behalf of CN, manager Donald Miller said, “We deeply regret that the band will not be able to embark on this tour as scheduled. At this time, we thank you for your understanding and the band looks forward to seeing you this fall.”
